I'm Michael A. Stevenson, Linn County Treasurer. Along with my wife, MeriKay and children Kelley and Ryan, we are life long residents of Linn County. I am a member of The American Legion, Knights of Columbus, VFW and St. Pius X church and also an instructor at the Cub Scout day camp.

I started working in the Treasurer's Office in January 1971. I worked both as a Motor Vehicle Deputy and a Tax Department Deputy. In November of 1986, I was elected Linn County Treasurer.

My goal is to provide quality customer service in the issuance of vehicle registrations and collection of property taxes, while respecting the citizens of Linn County. Also to be prudent and responsible in managing the financial assets of Linn County.
